Mortal Kombat X

Posted: 15th April 2015 in PS3 Gaming

I don’t play fighting games much, the last I ever played was Street Fighter and that was a long time ago.  I came across Mortal Kombat X while looking for new games on my local gaming website.  And after watching a video about the game it does look really good and some of the moves are cool.  So I think this will be the next game that I buy for the Playstation 3 Here is what they have said for the new game:

Mortal Kombat X combines cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever, offering a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy.

For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style. Players step into an original story showcasing some of the game’s most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil and tie the tale together.

Ghost In The Wires

Posted: 11th April 2015 in Books

I have just completed the book Ghost In The Wires by Kevin Mitnick it tooks me 5 days to read.  It’s a very good read if you want to dive into the world of social engineering and hacking the book does not provide hacking tutorials, so there is no point in reading it if you want to learn how to hack. But it will give you an insight into the world of Kevin Mitnick and what he had to go through while the feds where after him.

I also read one of his other books years ago The Art of Deception that was a gppd read from what I can recall, I also ordered The Art of Intrusion which should arrive next week, so I’m looking forward to read that.

The phone rang yesterday morning at about 10am so I answered it, and the voice at the other side said “Hello I’m from microsoft and your computer is having problems…” so I hang up.  Have they nothing better to do than ring people up and talk the biggest load of shite, if I had of said yes to the person calling, they would have probably of given me a link to download a fix for my computer problem, which could have left me to downloading a virus or some other evil software.

But, sometimes people would not think then maybe start to panic thinking that their computer was sick and they needed to download the link given to fix it.

So if you ever get a call from microsoft or some other company, just say I use linux feck off !!!
